Now that I explained a little
more about the title of my magazine, this is what it should look like when I finish
it.
I
still don’t have the perfect background for it, but for now, you can see what it’s
going to say, where it’s going to be located, the size of each article name,
and the font they’re all in. Let me draw it out for you. The title is all the
way at the top because I want it to be the first thing the viewers read when
they see this magazine. The title has the largest font size in the cover page.
On the left side, I have the names of the articles that will be inside of the
magazine. Keep in mind these aren’t the main articles. The main cover article
is written in larger font than the other articles, but in a smaller font than
the title.
Let
me explain why the font sizes are all different. The title is probably the one
of the most important parts of any magazine cover. It has the largest font size
so the audience can see that first and read the title to get an idea of what
the entire magazine will be based on. Then comes the main cover article. This
is the second to largest font size on the cover page. The reason its larger
than the font sizes of the other articles is because I want to make this
article seem more important than the other ones without even having the read
all the articles. The cover article will talk about the main reason I decided
to write this magazine. Last but not least, are the rest of the articles. I’m
not saying that these other ones aren’t important. But they’re just more
background and additional information sort of backing up the main cover
article. This is why they have the smallest font size in the cover page.
